Coventry Homes Unveils Luxurious Cane Island Model

Thoughtful architectural elements and whimsical décor mark Coventry Homes’ recently unveiled new model home in the master-planned community of Cane Island.

Showcasing floor plans for 55-foot homesites, the nearly 3,000-square-foot Design 5402 model at 2626 Country Lane in Katy demonstrates the builder’s commitment to providing buyers with high-end features while still offering them a blank canvas for personalization.

One of the more striking architectural aspects of the home is the optional curved staircase, capped by a coffered ceiling, which leads up to a game room and two generously proportioned bedrooms — one of which is football-themed for the nearby Katy High School.

On the first floor, an island kitchen that is open to the two-story family room and an oversized breakfast area is more than capable of becoming the center of family life. For formal occasions a dining room, connected to the kitchen by a butler’s pantry, is ample enough for large gatherings. Coventry Homes features its dining room as a study option, showing another example of each floor plan’s flexibility. A convenient first-floor master suite boasts natural light with a curved wall of glass and a well-appointed master bath with shiplap detailing.

Options available but not showcased in the model include a wine room, Texas-sized covered patio, a fifth bedroom or a media room.

We offer 12 flexible floor plans in this section of Cane Island, so buyers can get exactly the home they want and need.”

Standard features of the one- and two-story homes include island kitchens, covered patios and three-car garages. Options include wine rooms, studies, bonus rooms, fireplaces, built-in data areas, additional garage space, additional bedrooms, outdoor kitchens, and more. Homes range from 2,244 to 3,196 square and are priced from the low $300,000s.

Residents of Cane Island enjoy a number of amenities including an Amenity Village boasting a two-story fitness center and yoga studio, event lawn, conservatory, café and resort-style pool. The community is zoned to exemplary schools in the Katy Independent School District.
